Review: Kanebo Kate jewel carat gd-1

Kanebo Cosmetics is a leading Japanese producer of cosmetics that traces back its history to 1887.
Their products are now available in more than 50 countries and regions throughout the world.

BRAND STORY:

Kate is one of their brands which proposes an ever-changing collection of trendy makeup items resonating with the brand motto,

“No more rules.” The keywords for the KATE style are urban, sharp, and cool. Liberated from fixed rules about makeup, KATE invites its users to make themselves up in styles and colors of their very own.

KATE offers fashion-conscious women innovative, trendy products and colors of fantastic quality at moderate prices. Backed by its cool, sharp package design and advertising, KATE has quickly seized the top share of the self-selection makeup market for young women in Japan. KATE is a rising brand in Asia, striking the chord with trendsetting, makeup-conscious women in the dynamic, younger market segments.

It has a very simple yet classy packaging. It may not be seen here in the photo but the clear plastic itself is shaped into little diamonds.

The texture of the eyeshadow is very soft and it's a bit bouncy so there would be smudges all over the product after using it.

And here's a swatch on my hand. It looks like pixie dust to me :D

This eyeshadow is best to be used for the inner corners of the eye to give that youthful glow, the lower lash line to open or brighten up the eye or as a finishing touch on the center of the lids.
